Alicia Keys Trivia Won the award for Best R'n'B at the 2004 Mtv Europe Music Awards. Wrote her first song at the age of 14. Began to play the piano at 7. Still lives in New York. Was the first artist to sign with J Records. Her grandmother on her mother's side is of Puerto Rican descent. Appeared on Vibe cover, Vanity Fair music issue, SevenTeen Magazine, Teen Magazine. Is currently on tour in Europe. Her next album is going to be coming out next January. Accepted by Columbia University at age 16, but dropped out to pursue her music career. Wrote and produced "Impossible", one of the songs on Christina Aguilera's album, "Stripped". Named one of People Magazine's "Breakthrough Stars of 2001".
